I used to write all my passwords down in a notebook. Eventually I had pages filled with them, and many passwords scribbled out as I changed them. It became time consuming to find the right one. So glad I found SplashID. That was back in the Palm days, and I’ve been a happy user ever since. Keep up the good work!

Tried many others including Robocopy, Keepass, Dashlane, Lastpass, and several others. Never found anything that works as well as SplashID. I love the fact that I can create both Categories and Types which helps me segregate work/personal and other things. My current list is over 2700, but it has exceeded 3000 at times and never breaks a sweat! It works on all my devices: iphone, Mac, Android, Windows and I never have a problem staying in sync. Exporting/restoring backups is easy.

Have been using SplashID since Palm. The most useful thing is the sync through Wifi that enables you to keep all passwords up to date. Finger print recognition on iPhone is also a great feature.

I’ve been using this tool for quite a while, I used to maintain my ids and passwords in a spreadsheet but that isn’t as easy to maintain as this tool. I love it, I recommend it often. I just discovered the cloud backup and love it. I used to have to sinc my phone, tablet and PC and it was always a bit questionable as to which was currently ‘right’. So happy to have found this feature, keep up the good work. Perhaps a random password generator would be a good next step as the tool continues to grow. Thanks for #WinSplashID hope I win!

With SplashID, which I have been using for many years, I need only remember one password to get access to all my other passwords. My wife often asks” “What’s the password for…?” and my answer always is ” Go to SplashID.” It’s so simple and secure!

Today I have 70 passwords stored in my Splash software. I do not worry or try to keep them in my head any longer. I have always been a very orginized person and Splash is the tool for me. Prior to using Splash I had to write them down. I would end up with 10-15 sticky notes under my keyboard or 10-15 at any time in my walet. I had a master list in my safeand that is only if I could remember to add them. The master was never up to date. Thank you for the great software. I will contine with Splash for life reguardless of if I win or not. Congratulations on your 15th anniversary.

I remember using unencrypted text files to store my passwords on different devices. Even worse, I tried to remember some of them, never writing them down. SplashID’s sync function allows me to keep all passwords up to date on all devices in an encrypted, local, database, irrespective of whether a device is online or not.

I love it!!! Before my Splash experience I used to wrote down my password in little postits that used to put here and there… and never remember where were they!!!! I´ve been using SplashID for several years now. Installed it in many different devices (Cassiopeia, Palm LifeDrive, Blackberry, and today in my iPDA and Samsung phone), and it never fails!! Now with the Cloud sync I have my passowords with me everywhere. I never had to thought in using an alternative software.

Before SplashID, all of my personal security information was kept in different makeshift formats depending on what it was. For example, low sensitive online logins/pw were kept on a simple notepad app; bank-related online logins were kept on my home pc in a password protected Word document; other information like security ID #s, were sent to myself in emails then put in a folder; and other times I would not want to bother and just write it down on a memo that I would keep — sometimes this became hazardous like a pirate that forgot where he buried little pockets of treasures.
Quite a tangled system which I had eventually gotten used to but memorizing it had become a little bit much.
SplashID mobile app helped me streamline all of that into a single destination which is great. And when the cloud version came out, it was even better. Even if I didn’t have my smartphone on me, I could access what I needed from any browser. It has made things a lot more convenient and I can’t imagine having to go back to the cluttered solution I was relying on before.
Great background. That does sound like a tangled system you used to have, although my system before I got SplashID back in 2002 was similarly byzantine 🙂

I had user names and passwords in every combination of my name, date of birth, address, and nick-names. so many, that on any given day I was always having to re-set the pass word and have the vendor re-assign temporary access.
All that changed with SplashData. Easy to use, secure, and there when I need it! No more little green book full of hundreds of user names and passwords! Burned the little book weeks ago!

I have been a long time customer of SplashID since the Palm days. Yes, I did just reference my age (but pretend you did not notice); I am still tech savy and like new and functional apps. At first, I utilized SplashID to just to keep the few passwords we did have at the time, PIN for debit, and the few passwords we needed for the web. THEN came the era of shopping online, work passwords, work emails, etc. Recently we have the constraints of the passwords that must be 8 or more characters and some with caps, some not, some must have symbols, some not, some must have numbers and some not. Finally, we are now in a world where almost everything we do including our banking and our house lights are on a “passworded” system. I am surprised we did not have to include our password to blog here!! All in all, SplashID keeps my owner created passwords in check, my kids passwords, and our SplashID generated passwords (which are impossible to remember) all in a safeguarded place for us to access everytime we want a glass from our refrigerator!! Thank you SplashID for offering a much needed program and for continuing to offer new features such as the fingerprint option. That is such an excellent way to quickly enter the app without yet again entering a password.

SplashID surpassed itself when it enabled fingerprint login on the iPhone. I have used SplashID for many years, because I’m obsessed with really secure passwords and I have over a thousand. Now that I can login using my fingerprint, I use my iPhone all the time to access SplashID – and the only slight drawback is that, whereas I used to know my master SplashID password by heart and had no record of it anywhere, now somewhere in physical reality it is written down (I challenge our dogs or children to find it!) because, should fingerprint login ever fail, I’m not sure I can reliably remember it…it is the key to Aladdin’s Cave (if only).

I too have been a SplashID user since Palm days. I used to just keep them in my brain….then various Post-It notes. I had even been known to commit the great sin of using the same password EVERYWHERE so I only had one password to remember!! Now I STILL only have to remember one password…..my SplashID password!! Would love to have a lifetime membership!

I was generally very happy with SplashID until the latest upgrade of the desktop version. Each website has their own rules for creating passwords, even if they don’t tell you what they are until after you’ve entered one, if at all. So moving the password criteria (length, characters, etc.) into a preference was really a step backward. Now each time you generate a password you have to go in to preferences and edit it to match the site you’re generating a password for. I’m guessing you don’t have a user experience person? If not, please get one. Thanks!

Previously used Word with a password to record my passwords. Most likely, it is not as secure as SplashID. Currently stored on a laptop and iPad with backups on encrypted Kingston USB Flash Drives, both on site and off site.
Thanks for the message. Yes, good point — a Word doc, even encrypted, is not as secure a solution, plus it doesn’t offer all the convenience and organization features of SplashID.

I use to write my passwords and important information on a piece a paper. Then I started imputing it into my handheld Handspring device. It was all getting to be very cumbersome until I found SplashID. It has been a very useful tool on my current smart phone and I can’t tell you how many times I have been out and about when I needed that information.

I used a different password store for about 10 years, but they withdrew support for it on Android, so I had to change, and I’m pleased I found SplashID. Prior to that, I had a written password store, with the passwords written down in a “non-obvious” way.
I now have over 150 different passwords stored in SplashID, for my own accounts, my wife’s accounts, my father’s accounts and previously I had my mother’s accounts as well. I could never have managed this number on paper, so thank you for SplashID!

I have been using SplashID since way back using my Palm. It’s easy to use and has nice customization features. I would be lost without it. So many passwords and SplashID handles them all. I love the fact you can sync between the computer and iPhone. I always recommend it when the topic of security and passwords come up between family and friends. Thanks for the great product!

Back in the olden days, I used an Excal spreadsheet protected with its own password. Thought it was cool at the time to have just one password to remember to have access to all my other passwords. I started using KeyPass software because it was available on multiple platforms. To sync my passwords, I had to copy a file between devices to synchronize my passwords on this devices. When I found out about SplashIDs capabilities to auto-sync across all my devices using a cloud and the ability to display or pass my credentials to the website I was accessing, I was sold! I’ve been using SplashID ever since. Great product!

This app has been most useful to me and I use it daily. I love the idea of putting in information on my laptop or desktop and knowing that it will be on my iPhone or iPad whenever I need it. I found splashID for my Palm Pilot P505 back in 2001 when looking for a secure app to store passwords and information. Even when I stopped using my Palm Pilot I continued using SplashID on my desktop.
I was delighted when I was finally able to get the app for my iPhone.
It’s one of my most heavily used and useful apps.

Used a combination of an Excel spreadsheet and Outlook notes to manage passwords before SplashID. Never felt either was very secure and was always frustrated that if I was not at my computer I did not have access to my password lists. Now I keep everything from passwords, building security codes, insurance cards, reward cards, all in SplashID. Have tried other password programs over the years but keep coming back to SplashID.

Hello, I’m German and using SplashID for a Long time. My husband created a Account some years ago. I was Not interessted in this. My husband got sick and before he dies, there was a quick intro of SplashID, where he created all importand Passwords, Numbers, Keywords. He competed it, so when he dies, I only have to know one password for all my importand Things I must know.
So now I handel it for my own and i am Lucky to have SplashID on my side.

I am a 24 year veteran insurance agent/broker with access to numerous carrier and vendor websites. I had used a small pocket book in the beginning which became a royal pain when you had to change your passwords, add new websites and passwords, etc. I have been using SplashID for as far as I can remember, probably around 15 years now. Based on what I am reading here, I got lucky finding the perfect app with the perfect format. It is on my iPhone as well as IPad and desktop. I take the information with me where ever i go. There is no way I could continue with my business without it.

I have been using SplashID for so long I don’t remember how I found it. But, SplashID had been terrific for keeping track of passwords by category, generating passwords, and most recently, syncing with all my devices so I always have a place to look up the passwords.

I have used SplashId for years from the happy days of Palm, syncronizing Passwords, Calendar and contacts locally with Palm desktop and was happy until my Palm was stolen. I bought a simple smartphone with Android intending to synchronize /backup my calendar, contacts and passwords locally via bluetooth or such. I also got a new version of SplashId.
It never worked, and after Win 8.1 arrived it is hopeless. Perhaps I’ve got the wrong phone or it is my objection to filing my sensitive data in the cloud, be it SplashId, Google or Microsoft or …
So I’m back to using printouts from my old Palm desktop , manually updating them on my old Pc.
It works but it is rather cumbersome.

Well, one day I received na e-mail offering to try SplashID. So, I decided to try and know what that app can help my life. Nowadays, we have a lot of password to manager, e-mail, bank, etc.
Since I begining used SplashID I never let it again. The app is really excellent and better security. Thanks SplashID to turn my life easy than before. That come 15 and 15 years ahead.

I have been using SpashID almost since it first came out! I would like to comment on the great customer service support I have experienced. The product speaks for itself, it’s fantastic. However if you have a problem you need to know the support will be there. It most certainly was! I switched to a MacBook Pro and upgraded to Yosemite and then SplashID wouldn’t open. I contacted support and the responded very quickly. They had to email me a number of times as I was having a hard time being tech savvy but they were always patient, courteous and helpful. That is the sign of a great company and especially when it’s such important information they are looking after for you. Thank you SplashID for the product, but also for the support over the years!

Like others, I have been using Splash since the beginning. I have referred several friends and family members who have had problems remembering their passwords. I actually save their passwords for future reference…

I (also) have been using SplashID since the times on my good old Palm M515. The was the app to use.
Made a short detour via winpass but when i bought my first iPhone i came back to SplashID.
The functionality to choose to sync locally cross platform between my pc, iPad and phone is great and never disappointed me.
So the time before SplashID. That is a really long, long time ago. The time i tried a password protected word file. Or simply a page in my paper agenda (still remember this one).
So, hopefully it will be around a long time.

I used to use excel sheets to keep track and eventually I started just using the same password everywhere. I started using SplashId on my palm pilot and have used it since. I am now able to use multiple passwords as it easy to just pull up on the SplashId app. The Wifi sync helps with having everything across my multiple devices. I agree with the fingerprint scan feature being excellent, and would now like to see the new iOS 9 feature of slide over used. When I quickly need a note, or credit card number the slide over would be amazing. Customization is one of the great things about this app.
I used to use the same password for everything, when where less hacker attacks and passwords could be very simple, normally they fits in all places, with the time, passwords had to be more complex due to security policies and then trying to find 1 password for all becomes more and more complex.
SplashID help me a lot, The most often passwords i still have in my mind, but also in SplashID, but there are other password that I use rarely for those ShapshID is my lifesaver.
But not only for passwords, SplashID also keeps lot content sensitive information that otherwise I had to always have in my mind or just not have it, like credit card numbers, back account numbers, details about my car insurance, contracts etc.
My whole life will be much more complex without SplashID.

I have been a long time user of SplashID and would not switch to anything else. I have tried others but always come back to SplahID for its easy to use layout, its sync capabilities and its reliability. It used to be simple and there was one password for everything. But as time went on there were more and more places requiring passwords with special characters, capital letters and numbers. Pretty soon my one password turned into many. Now with over 200 entries in my SplashID, keeping track of what password to use has never been easier. And with the app on my phone I never worry about being away from home without access to my password list. I even use SplashID to store all my credit card and bank information. SplashID has been by far the best productivity app I have ever purchased.

I have used SplashID Pro for about, oh…I would say 8-10 years now and I have never even considered using anything else. I would say that I log in to it “no less than” 2-3 times per day. It is so easy to create and save different passwords and user names for every site that I visit and only have to know ONE unique password to get into my “safe!” I have it synced with my MacBook Pro, my iPhone, and my iPad and ever time I add a password into either device, it seamlessly adds it to the other devices. Other than my calendar, it is my most used application. I keep it on my home page which, on my devices, is a great honor, (kind of like being in the front of the line), and I have recommended it to at least 10-20 friends over the years. Skip all the other “fly by night” apps, this one is trusted, reliable, professional and 15 years old…I’m hoping for 15 more years…if it makes it that long, I’ll still be here!

My friend, Peter, was visiting from DC. We were at the SF zoo, walking by the Lion house (in fiction we call that foreshadowing) There had just been a hack of a national retailer’s customer database.
“You know what scares me about as much as lions?” I asked Peter, “Identity theft.”
“Do what I did,” Peter said, “lock down your credit reports, and use a password locker to keep the keys.” He explained it all to me, and on Monday I opened a SplashID account. I called all of the credit reporting agencies and told them, like I was C3P0, “shut them all down,” that I wasn’t playing their game any longer.
“Our game?” they asked,
“Yeah. I’m on to you. You make money selling credit checks to card vendors. What happens when someone gets ahold of my SSN and opens a credit card in my name?”
“Oh,” they responded, “Why don’t you enroll in a credit monitoring service? We have several plans available, the first three months are free.”
“There’s your game again. The first one’s always free with you people. Lock . It. Down, now.”
I created a ridiculous 24 character password for each reporting agency, and then an even more ridiculous one for SplashID. Then I slowly migrated all of my passwords off of my desktop Excel spreadsheet titled “SecretLogins”
I sleep well, and I have the confidence of a Christian holding four aces. Even lions don’t scare me.

Before getting SplashID, I had passwords and access information “hidden” all over the place – notes, stickies, slips of paper in my wallet, and on and on. I did a lot of research and settled on SplashID and I’m glad I did! I have everything I need in one secure spot and can locate the information I need WHEN I need it! I have been using Splash ID for years and suggest it to my friends when I see they’re struggling with the password workload. THANKS!

I’ve been using SplishID since I switched from TurboPassword a long time ago. TurboPassword worked on my desktop, but wasn ‘t portable. With SplishID I have it loaded on my home computer desktop and on my iPod Touch and keep them synced. I’m about to buy another copy to put on my wife’s new MS Surface so we can both had all the passwords and personal information we keep stored in SplishID.

I don’t remember how long it’s been since I started using Splash ID, but it’s been a long, long time. I strongly subscribe to using a different password for every site / account. That would be virtually impossible without a reliable password manager. I only have to “remember” one password …. to my Splash ID account. I use the program across my MacBook Pro, iPhone, and 2 iPads. I love the fact that by syncing them all together, I have all of my passwords at my fingertips, no matter which device I am using. Several years ago I began using the built-in password generator for my passwords, and slowly but surely I’m moving away from my made-up passwords. The complexity of the passwords generated by the program provides me with a “safe’ feeling that none of my accounts will be hacked (and so far they haven’t been). Keep up the great work! The program is a winner!

I started with one password for nearly everything, separate passwords for vital information and finally discovered SplashID several years ago with which I made up several passwords and later let the continuing improving application generate the passwords. When mobile devices became available, SplashID’s ability to synchronize with them was a great convenience.
When the iPhone first came out, using SplashID, I no longer had to carry a list of serial numbers on a card in my wallet (camera, lenses, etc. when traveling) but could put them on the phone. A better method.

I used to keep my passwords in a logbook until I purchased a Palm handheld device and started using Password Plus. However, they did not have applications for the new devices so I found SplashID to fill my needs. Since then, I have been using SplashID for all my passwords and have grown, with the company. I especially enjoy the multi-platform capabilities when I am away.

I’ve been using SplashId for a long time, my brother introduced it to me many many years ago and it saved me from constantly having to dig thru the small notebooks my wife and I used to manage all of our passwords on in the 90’s, they were our “Little Black Books.” Needless to say once I transferred all that into this awesome program my life became a bit easier, still had the hassle of only having the program on my personal laptop, but once SplashID Safe came along a couple years ago that all seems like a distant memory. I find myself advocating to friends all the time to to give it a try because it is so awesome and can get you out of a jam faster than you can blink an eye. The ability to have it on multiple devices and all synced up is amazing. I don’t think I could live without it and all the ease of use it offers. Thanks SplashId for being there for me.

If SplashID has turned 15, then my use of it has turned 15 as well. I bought it for my PalmPilot and I’ve been using it ever since. Never tried another product; never felt the need.
As for how I kept passwords before, I’m afraid that’s strictly confidential.
SplashID is the only product I’ve used for sensitive information for all these years and I was very happy when SplashData produced versions for other phones, including my Windows Phone.
With about 700 entries, most of which are passwords, SpashID is an essential tool for me.

I started managing my passwords in spreadsheets, hiding columns and using white text to “hide them”. Then, back in 2001, I bought Splash ID and since then I have been using it in different platforms. Palm, Windows C and finally iOS. For me, the best app to keep all your user IDs, passwords and a lot of personal information secure.

Splash ID acquired me as a customer of another competing product (I don’t remember the name now) they merged/bought over about 10 years ago. I used it on my palm pilot probably since 2002, way before the smart phone came in to the picture and really liked that password program. I was sick of having passwords written down on pieces of paper and hiding here and there. After I was acquired, I had to convert to Splash ID and it worked out well. Now I use it on my PC, iOS devices and android devices. I really like the ease of use and simplicity.
Near 2004 I used to write my relevant data in not more than a sheet, till I searched the web about best seller programs for passwords managers for devices like Palm Pilot. Answer: I choose SplashID and since then they’ve being keeping moving my data me to the best devices. Now incredibly satisfied with Splash ID Safe. My most relevant App. I can travel real calm knowing I am safe and can access anything anywhere. Only now corporate colleagues are asking me that they’ve heard I’ve got and excellent solution for it. Yes SplashID Safe. Today it’s imposible for any manager to control things so important as more than 100 bank accounts access, in my case, personal and business and passwords for paying taxes.

I used to have all my passwords in a small notebook which didn’t really keep them safe. I then got a Palm phone and loaded Splash ID. It has been a godsend and I have it on my home computer, tablet and phone so I have my passwords with me wherever I go – safe and secure.

For many years I purchased probably 3 apps to maintain passwords and secure information. None were complete so I continued my search and then I came across SplashID and liked the possibilities. It met my every possible need and I now laughingly refer to it as ‘my brain’. I have the lifetime app trusting that it will always be there to serve me. Additional plus is that I can key to my PC, iPhone or Mac only one time and it is synced into the others. I have set up information such as my favorite football team, when, where they play and maintain the win/loss and standing. This is by far the best secure app that I have found on the market and can recommend it without an reservation. Many thanks for the forethought of such an app and your continued maintenance.
managing password is an everyday event in this day and age. just think of how many times you have to reset passwords because you can’t remember if you capitalized the first letter or last or used a number at the beginning or end. And, God forbid that we have to use a symbol! so my Wife’s solution was to keep an index card catalog of the few passwords we used to have. well it started as 4-5 cards and then 10-20 and now who can count that high! then comes the moment I need to look up the password and can’t find the index card because is it under the first name, last name, initials of the company? So when I finally find the index card I then have to determine the user name and or password. Well I find that my has crossed out one name, highlighted another name, and totally marked through the other. So now I have to decipher which name or PW is correct. by time all this is done I had been kicked off my computer and had trouble logging back in. The final straw was when I couldn’t log in to get my timeshare week because I got locked out of the password too many times and had to call into security and well you all know how that goes. try convincing someone you are who you say you are but you can’t remember your security questions! So I mentioned this one day to a friend who said you should go to SplashID. So I did and boy did I think I went to heaven! I put all our names and PW’s into this account and can look it up by my cell phone anytime I am traveling to get into any account. Thank you SpashID for coming up with a quick, efficient, easy, and user friendly way to keep these all in one central place. Keep up the great work.

Before that, we don’t have so much id and password to remember. With the advancing of internet age and the Internet-of-things, we need to be able to keep track of all these ids and password or even anything that you need to be kept safe. Bought my SplashID from the early days and it has been a tool that I have been constantly using. It will be good to have a lifetime subscription to SplashID Pro.
I’ve been using SplashID since the beginning of Palm. I can’t recall how I found it but I’m so glad I did. Back then I was keeping a hand written log of all of my passwords and carried it around with me. I didn’t have many passwords and over the years as I upgraded or had issues, the customer service department always handled my questions or issues quickly and thoroughly. My husband and I started a business about 8 years ago and today I have 198 business and personal passwords and information stored. Information such as vehicles, RX’s and identification. It’s so secure that I feel safe having that information stored and always have it handy wherever I am. I tell everyone about SplashID!

I have been using SplashID since my Palm Pilot and it is my life saver. I have over 300 data items maintained and it is such a comfort knowing I have access to my account credentials wherever I am! I upgraded to the lifetime subscription last year. Before SplashID, I was continually losing/forgetting passwords and accounts. Don’t know what I would do without a password vault, and this one is so intuitive to me and easy to use.
Before SplashID I was jotting down my passwords on an index card that I kept in my wallet, which quickly became filled and ragged. Once I had SplashID I was able to safely store my information, organize it nicely, and attach associated information such as account or telephone numbers. When I first started I was using the Palm os, but have been using an iPhone for a couple years now. I love how it syncs between devices and allows me secure access from where ever I am!

In this age of multi complex long passwords at work i could not survive without this product. It’s on my iPhone, Mac Desktop at home, Windows at work and on the web. The fact that it is strong encrypted allows me to feel safe keeping my important passwords and account info within SplashID. Thanks for a great product.
A long time ago I didn’t have a password problem because I had one. I used a single password for everything. For obvious reasons, this could not continue. I stumbled upon Splashid and have never looked back. All my passwords are 18 character random generated now. The beauty is, once you get used to the workflow, it really adds no extra time. An extra copy paste before I log in to websites has become second nature. What does that buy me? Peace of mind. I run 3 mobile devices. Lots of opportunities for mishaps. With Splashid, all of my passwords are secure. Not only are they secured, they are synchronised across all of my devices. I need to remember ONE beefy password, and Splashid guards my collection of 100+ internet passwords. Easy !

On July 21, 2009, I suffered a brain hemorrhage that should have killed me. Before that day, I had been using Splash ID to keep track of online passwords and maybe an ID number here and there. I kept a lot of that information in my head. I could remember all my bank account numbers and even the large majority of my credit card numbers. After that day, things were different. There was no real residual damage, but I just can’t remember every little thing that I used to. Thankfully, I have SplashID, and don’t have to. It has saved me WAY more than I ever thought it would. I’ve been using it since my Palm Treo days and don’t ever plan to be without it.
This is an inspiring story, these digital products we use so often can be more than just conveniences, they can really help those who have to face life’s most difficult challenges.

I discovered SplashID in Apple iOS App Store in my iPhone 5 years ago. I gave it a try and it has been my essential tool. SplashID is really one of the first, and one of the best app for password management. It keeps evolving… custom record icon, attachment in record, password generator, iOS Touch ID, etc. I purchased SplashID Mac OS X App (Version 6) for synchronization afterwards. These 2 apps work great and seamlessly.
Security is vital in the Internet era. Without a secure and well-designed password management tool, we have to use a few passwords for a hundred websites or services.
Single-Sign-On services from Google and Facebook are great and convenient. However, using different credential for different websites and services is more secure.
SplashID provides a secure and convenient way for password management in iOS/OS X. I highly recommend it to my friends.
I have been using splashid since one of the first iphones. I had been using an excel spreadsheet that I kept in another 3rd party app on my phone. I figured that there had to be a better way to keep track of your passwords. So happy that I found SplashID. just started using the cloud and I like it. It’s on all my devices, my iphone, macbook air, and imac.
I used to have such a great password. I loved that password, it came from one of my favorite movies. I worked in the movies, it was perfect. But I used that one password everywhere, on everything. Life was simpler in that distant past, oh, about nine years ago, when you could have a single endearing password. Then I remember a co-worker’s password was somehow compromised, hours of frustration on the telephone. And her password, it was so, so much more complicated than mine. I think it might really have been a decent password, unlike mine. Next day I purchased SplashID for my old Treo on the recommendation of a co-worker. Now I have many more passwords, and almost all are different from one another. This is good practice, but not as much fun. I’m glad there are products like Splash to help mitigate the agony I went through giving up that one delightful word. It needed to go.

My husband keeps two notebooks with all his passwords in them – just the passwords, not the account or username. Needless to say he spends a lot of time being locked out of accounts. I knew there was a better way so Google searched and found splashID several years ago. Been happy ever since not having to depend on my husbands notebooks! He’s constantly asking me for the Wireless network password, or the Netflix password. ?

I like that all my passwords are in one place, and that I am in control of them. I also like that I can use it for other information like VIN numbers, insurance info, etc. Couldn’t imagine not having it!
I thought I was cleaver, I stored my passwords in aa password protected Word document but hide the file with a strange name on my hard drive. Once I bought a Palm pilot I immediately bought SplashID. It only saved on my device but it was very convienient. When I upgraded to a Treo i continued with Splash and was able to sync to my computer. Blackberry, computer, Android I still find original data that always ported to the next device. I am debating on upgrading again since what I am using still works great. Happy 15th anniversary to all of us.

I have used SplashID for so many years, I can’t remember how I came upon it. I store everything in SplashID, my passwords, serial numbers for various equipment that I have, insurance information, and so much more. It has really saved my butt many times. The copy and paste feature has also been a time saver. If you’re like me and have a lot of web logins, you can’t possibly remember them all. I have Norton Identity Safe, but I still put everything into SplashID. I have it on my desktop and on my phone and I would be lost without it.

This site was recommended to me during a symposium on Identity Theft. Having to manage numerous passwords which I constantly have to change for security reason, I found this site to be an easy way to manage the various passwords and groups. It allows me to separate those that are personal, those from work and even those from my elderly father accounts. The ease of changing the passwords is a big plus. I only which I had known about this site a long time ago, it would have saved me some time and energy. I use the duel authentication feature to add one last layer of security.

I started using SplashID when back around 2003 or 2004 on my Palm Pilot PDA. It was very handy to store all my personal information. I then moved to an old Nokia phone and finally to iOS. I’ve always had it loaded on my desktop as well and have kept it synced. Having SplashID has saved me many times since I don’t always carry my bank account info or all my credit cards with me. I love it and hope to be using it for the rest of my life!!

I started using SplashID while working at a computer center, where I had to keep track of about 30 different passwords for various servers & systems. Because I worked in computer security, I also had to keep changing the passwords on a regular basis, and as we got more servers, adding new passwords. In desperation I researched security apps & found SplashID. What a wonderful app! First ran it on a Palm, but eventually moved it to my desktop & iPod Touch. I call it my brain, because it not only keeps track of all my passwords, but account numbers, and private, & personal information. Hardly a day goes by that I do not get into SplashID at least once. It is, by far, my favorite & most important app! Thank you so very much for creating it!

Here another user back to the Palm Treo ages! Would still love to have a Treo, but that’s another story. Having an online company working in the cloud on all our processes and myself working on 6 differtent devices, I love Splash ID. Especially since we can synchronize via cloud. All devices auto synced. However, must say I do have some technical dufficultys since, but can solve them every time.

I started using SplashID on a Palm m515 in Jaunary 2003, because I wanted to bring my passwords with me, securely.
I had 10-20 passwords in the device at the very beginning perfectly syncronized between the Palm and my PC.
Now they are 500+.
Never wrote a password on a piece of paper since 15 years!

I have been using SplashID since long years now, starting with a Palm in 2003 I think. Later a Dell handheld came, followed by a Windows phone and finally the Android / Windows combination I use now. In between I have been trying different password safe solutions, but always came back to SplashID.
Besides storing all my personal information I also use the software to store all the information of my customers as provider logins, ftp and domain information, serial numbers, licensing info etc… Several times this saved a lot of work for both parties. Now my customers know that when they forgot something, they can ask me.
As a communication consultant I also recommended SplashID to a number of customers.
Whenever something works well for me, I stay with it. So I am still using SplashID. Thank you for the great work you have been doing up to now. Move on like this!

I can’t remember how I came across SplashID but it will be when I was upgrading from a Sharp PDA to a Palm Pilot and was looking for a portable application to store my passwords. I probably find in through Alta Vista as it was before Google. I was storing my passwords on a DES encrypted plaintext file on a file server and extracting the them with a script. It meant I need internet connectivity in the early 90’s to access the database, not an easy task back then. I am on my third mobile platform now but have reservations on storing my passwords in the “cloud”, so I am on WiFi sync only.
Wow, you’re bringing back a lot of memories for me — I had a Sharp PDA back when I worked for Disney in the 90’s and I used to use Alta Vista as well 🙂

What did I do with my passwords before SplashID? I don’t think I used passwords that far back in history. I’ve been using SplashID since I had my Palm Pilot. Now I am the “password keeper”, storing passwords for family, extended family members, and friends. They trust me to keep them safe, and to retrieve them when needed. I couldn’t do this without SplashID. I have 760 records in my SplashID at this point. Thank you, and Happy Birthday.

I’ve been using SplashID since the Palm days and currently have over 600 records that sync across a half dozen devices. Before SplashID, I used paper lists and a password protected spreadsheet that wasn’t user friendly, didn’t auto populate websites, and wasn’t really portable. Before SplashID, there was also lots of pressure to use the same password or at least a standard password pattern for everything so that I could remember them – obviously a terrible idea. Now I use SplashID for everything from passwords to serial numbers, VINs, license plate numbers, SSNs, account and routing numbers, etc. – everything I need to carry with me everywhere for every family member.
This has been a great product from the very beginning but adding the cloud sync feature was the greatest idea ever. I can now sync my most important data across several computers, an iPhone and 2 iPads so that I have everything I need at all times without regard to which device I have at the time. This is an outstanding product and I hope you will eventually get the recognition you deserve from the mainstream tech press.

Way back in the Palm Pilot/Sony Clie days, while working in computer sales, I found trying to keep track of passwords, account numbers, personal information, etc. was very difficult. I searched around for and used many apps, but none which did all-in-one. Don’t remember how, but ran across an ad for SplashData and your apps. I ordered the whole suite for the Sony Clie I had which contained several apps including SplashID, SplashShopper and contacts if memory serves. I haven’t found any single app that surpasses SplashID, especially the latest iteration-SplashID Safe. The ease of use, continuous improvement and seamless syncing between my Mac, iPhone, iPad and the web make my life a breeze. Even with all the OS and IOS updates, SplashID has never failed to provide and protect my important information. Every bit of information which I need access to is available at anytime and protected by one password. I have even included the password in my will to allow access to all my accounts after I pass on. I am in the process of setting my girlfriend up with an account after she finally gave up trying to keep everything in an address book! I always suggest SplashID when asked. Keep up the good work.

Loyal user since Palm Pilot III days. I currently have 1455 records in my data base. Since the earliest days I cram every piece of important data that I want to have access to but want to have secure. While it may be debated if SplashID is TNO or not I have never been let down yet.
I set up control systems for my company around the world and despite telling them to change the systems passwords I am always amazed that they call me asking for the systems master password which I keep tucked away in SplashID and guess what they did not change it so….the day is saved.
With the latest cloud features. Our family can share records when needed. As my son gets older I hand more of his information over to him to keep track of.
I watch the unsafe password practices around me all the time and constantly tell people about SplashID, the ones who come on board always tell me what a blessing it is when they start using the program.

I use to use note pads to keep all of my passwords. At one point I had 15 notepads and a ton of passwords just written down on bits of paper all over the place. I also use to have weak passwords but now everything is in one secure place and the strength of all of my passwords are great.

I found and subsequently fell in love with SplashID back in the Palm days when i was looking for a good password/credit card manager. Like many other users, before SplashID I would either use the same password or easy to remember passwords (birthdays, anniversaries, children/pet names, etc.). Now with well over 500 records, I use SplashID for storing anything & everything that is either important or just hard to memorize.
Over time as more of our lives important data has become susceptible to hacking, security has become more and more important. I personally have learned to rely on password managers to generate and store secure passwords of at least 12 characters, using upper & lower case letters, numbers and special characters (when permitted). And I have wholeheartedly recommended SplashID to anyone who asks me about storing passwords.
My favorite feature of SplashID has to be the sync over WiFi so my data is readily available on all my family’s devices. And last, but certainly not least, I am grateful that SplashID’s support has continued to be there for its customers over the years. I was happy to see them create a page on their forums where customers can vote on what new features they would like to see added next. Nice touch.

SplashID is the best password protect application. I have my license few year ago when I have a Phone with Palm OS. With the pass of time, I have change my phone and my Operating System, now, I have my iPhone, iPad, my Mac and my Windows 7, all connected with SplashIs Colud. I recomended this application to my friends and he like.

Started using Splash ID on the Palm as soon as I realized a spreadsheet was just not gonna cut it. Been with Splash through the Handspring Visor – the Treo phone – A Sony NZ90 Clié – to the current whole litany of Apple products. It has been my go-to app for passwords almost as long as there has been a need for them in the digital world! Tried many alternatives – but it has continually been the best-performing and most reliable. Whenever I am asked what I use, I eagerly recommend it! Every update makes it better and better. Keep going!

I travel quite a lot. In the old Word Perfect days, typed the whole lot of passwords, addresses and phone numbers on about 50 pages. I had 3 photocpies of these – one for home, one for the office, and one for travel – tatterdly held together with a big binder clip. Needless to say, as one password changed on one of the copies – none of them ever synced. The electronic ORGANIZER then took over these sheets until i carelessly left it behind while travelling in a large vacation resort. I then “resorted” to sitting outside the entrance asking every car that came in and out, whether they had found my life – the organizer with all my info! First encountered Splash programs in the Palm days, working as a medic. Between home and work it was difficult to track my data manually. As time grew so did Splash ID. Not only was I able to track passwords, but equipment numbers , bank accounts, retirement data, etc. As the synching improved the program became indispensable. Now retired it is no less valuable to me.

Many years ago I kept my passwords in a simple Windows program called Passkeeper. As I said, it was simple, but did the job. Only problem, it didn’t support use on smartphones or tables, which I desperately needed when on the road. Then I came across an add for SplashID. Loved the capability to synch passwords between my PC, phone and tablet. The interface was great, and I really liked the ability to choose categories and icons. When the Cloud version was introduced, I was hooked, and have been a loyal SplashID subscriber since.

I know tons and tons of people battled with passwords for devices. I have to say I never have BECAUSE I have had SplashID for so long.

Would certainly like to win 15 years of free subscription since SplashData saved my sanity many years ago. I tried first to make the same IDs ans PWs for everything but found out the hard way that it is not a good idea. Eventually some internet ressources demanded changing of PWs every 3 months and how could I remember which ones I’d already used and what combinations og letters and signs I hadn’t tried. So I tried to make a database, but couldn’t bring it around with me and definitely not access it through my cell phone. Finally I found the solution = SplashData via the Treo smartphone community and I’ve had few but quickly solved problems because of the very good customer service

We use it for so much more than “passwords”. I keep important dates on it, my health records, a log of my elderly parent’s health and RX’s, insurance info, when things are payable & due, shopping notes of sizes and room measurements and so much more. My wife has a “gift” category where she keeps what we bought for who and how much we spent on it. )Finding we use it more as we get older..we don’t have to beat ourselves up that we can’t remember something.) We have a record for every utility company, charge account and bank account we have. All the history of each is included: when we signed up, what the contract states, who to call if problems or how much basic enrollment was. Takes seconds to update and add information to keep current.

I used to keep track my passwords and other confident stuffs in Excel, and I was alwasy fustrated that if I was not at my computer. Since I use SplashID everything works like a charm. And all of my data is always with me. So I am happy that I found SplashID.

There are about 200 records in my SplashID and I use the app on a daily basis. Before SplashID I primarily used an encrypted text file on my notebook computer to save my important passwords. I began to look for a better solution as the number of passwords increased and the need for saving them in multiple devices arose. To me an ideal app should provide easy password management, strong password generation, easy access from my phone and notebook, and convenient syncing between all types of devices. SplashID meets all the goals nicely. I also very much like the fact that SplashID allows me to sync and back up my passwords without need of clouds (via WiFi).

I have (had) a great memory and used to rely solely on it regarding my passwords…back when I had 10 or so, it worked out OK. Now I 100’s of personal passwords and with explorer remembering my passwords, there is no way to keep them all straight. I only type some of the these passwords once every 5 years and some have to contain small letters, caps, numbers and a special character! As a consultant, I have a variety of passwords at 5 different clients as well as my own personal passwords. Memory? no way!
I also keep other important info in SplashID that I need occasionally, but want to be secure – passport numbers, healthcare numbers for the family, prescription details…
I would be lost without SplashID – thanks guys and gals at SplashID and happy anniversary!

The first app that we used was a little Windows app call PassKeeper on Win 3.1. It still runs on Windows 7! I sent an e-mail to the author when I couldn’t add the 256th password and he confirmed that there was a limit of 255. He was a little surprised that someone hit the limit.
We soon needed something that would sync between the work Win95 PC, the home Mac OS7 (or 8) and US Robotics Palm Pilot. SplashID was the only one found that would do that at the time. I’ve been using it ever since: through Win98, ME, 2K, XP, 7; Palm LifeDrive, TX, Apple iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad; Mac OS8, 9, X (thru Yosemite so far).

My passwords were all over the place on little pieces of paper, in notebooks and some hopefully in my brain. They never seemed to be where I needed them and I was always losing them. Now they are all in 1 place and if I need to change them that is very easy to do. Thanks for a great program.

First, thank you SplashID for keeping my records secure and organized. I’ve been using the product for over 10+ years and have recommended it to friends, family, and colleagues. Very easy to use and sure beats paper files, post it notes, excel, word, or any other tool even if made to store records. The products just works as intended. It has helped my wife and I on many occasions where we were left scratching our heads for the password or account numbers. Evan for specific notes from a date/time. Finally, peace of mind knowing the encryption security keeps our records safe makes us it a solid must have app.

Before I discovered Splash ID, I used to try to remember passwords or keep a paper list and a list using Excel. As I needed to keep updating passwords and each one had to meet different criteria for length and special characters, this became more and more difficult. SplashID enabled to keep all of this data organized and available.

I initially began using SplashID many, many years ago – mostly because it was the only password app at the time that looked reliable and was accessible without internet access. It was a decision I’ve never regretted, and i still feel I have the best app available, throughout all of the many iterations. Honestly, I’ve used Splash ID so long that I can’t remember how I kept track before! (and with a memory like that, pretty good thing you’re still around to celebrate 15 years!)

I have am an IT professional for nearly 20 years now and have been using SplashID for many years now. I first installed it on my IPhone 3. I must admit it was one of the two Apps I paid for on my Jail broken IPhone (the other was one called blacklist and was used to block unwanted people contacting me). Up until then I used only a handful of passwords, one for personal, and a separate one for each of the schools I administered. I know, this was bad practice and as an IP pro I advised against it. As security risks increased I started using more passwords and the passwords were becoming more complex, therefore even harder to remember. I started making a system by adding characters or numbers at the beginning or end of the current password until I finally decided that I need to start storing passwords. The first attempt was using a spreadsheet which was password protected. Not a bad solution but you needed to have the spreadsheet accessible at all times so I found myself having multiple copies of the spread sheet on different machines. Needless to say each machine ended up having a different version and in the end I had no idea which file had the correct passwords. After this I got really creative and made my own little database in access. This again gave me the problem of having everything in one place and needing to have access to the file at all times let alone needing a PC or Laptop to be accessible. I can go on and own with all the solutions I tried but at the end of the day the two main problems were still there, having the passwords accessible at all times and having a device to view them. Then came the start of a new generation, the smart phones. This solved the device problem as you had it on you at all times. After finding an app to open spreadsheet or database files I thought I was set. Wrong, still the version on the phone was always old and not very secure as editing the files was not at all easy. I thought an app was the way to go so I started browsing in search for good password apps for my IPhone. I came across a few free ones but I was not at all happy with them. I really did not want to pay for an App as I did not trust them and nearly all of the other Apps which I should have paid for after installing them for free I soon realised that they were not worth keeping so I was always happy I did not spend my money on them. After many days of searching I came across SplashID in App Store and what I read intrigued me. From the description it seemed to be able to solve all my problems and solve problems I had not come across yet. First instinct was download the free copy and if it really is all it says it is I will buy it. Three days later I deleted the free copy and bought SplashID. I swear it is the best App I have ever installed on my smart phone. Not only my passwords but all of my family’s details like birth certificates, tax numbers, vehicles, passport numbers etc.. are all stored there. No matter where I am my data and passwords are available to me in seconds. By chance, yesterday I was going through all of my SplashID entries and doing some housekeeping when I came across my SplashID serial number which I paid for so many years ago. I am writing this post not because of the competition as I will gladly pay for my yearly subscription in order to keep this App alive but to say a big THANK YOU. This truly is a must have app.

I am a bit freak at security and I don’t ever use the same password for any of my accounts.
I usually have to get my phone out of my pockets while paying with some credit card in order to know the PIN number 🙂 For that, the fingerprint access to Splashid is great as let me access fast.

Well I have been a splash ID user from the Palm days on a Palm Tungsten so that would be say around 2004 or maybe earlier. I am now using it on iPad, iPhone, Windows Desktop all synced together.
As an IT person I have a bunch of password that I had to remember and Splash was the only secure app that allowed you to search and find them . But I also used it to store all those little bits of information that you have no way to keep long term, but you don’t want to loose. Such as to remember birthdays, vaccinations, address of houses that I had lived in, Car – VIN ,Car stereo access code when it is disconnected from power, insurance policies numbers, Make and models and Serial numbers of expensive equipment in case it is stolen. When I am traveling my Passport details , my credit cards and travelers cheque. in case they are lost.
Great examples of how to use SplashID to manage all those bits of useful information besides passwords!
I also have used this since my Palm days. I now have it on my iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and MacBook Air. Although I have only 439 records, it is still way beyond my capability to remember them all.

I (too) have used SplashID since my Palm Pilot days. As a small business owner, I need to access many, many different sites, and SplashID makes it painless and secure to do so. I have been using SplashID for many years now and really appreciate how you have kept it abreast of the times as technologies and capabilities have changed – so rapidly. Syncing anything among computers and handhelds used to be much more unfriendly than it is now, and SplashID has always been at the forefront of making it work even when it was more cumbersome. I have about 400 records which include many of my family’s (college age kids have a crazy number of passwords to set up when they are applying for schools and financial aid) as well as three small businesses. I have a good memory but with the need to make passwords more complex and change them more often, I can’t even begin to tell you how great it has been to use SplashID as my trusted and secure personal assistant. Tech assistance has always been responsive when I needed it as well. I often tell people how well it works and how easy and safe it is to access, and I hope that has brought you more business!

I’m 66 years old & I’m lucky if I remember my own name, let alone all of the “Sign-in IDs” & Passwords that I visit occasionally. I’m fairly OK with the ones I visit daily, weekly, or maybe monthly; but the occasionals are imposible to remember. I’ve even forgotten the password of my Splash ID safe (3 times!!!).
Currently all is well, but I could real.y use that lifetime Splash ID Pro (after-all, my lifetime may end next year 🙁

I have been using SplashID, first on a Handspring (Palm compatible) device since 2004. Before that, like most folks, I had passwords and other information in multiple, typically insecure locations – at that point most of them related to work. In 2012 I upgraded to SplashID Safe, and set things up so that I can share household information with my wife, which I set up before a surgical procedure back in 2012, just in case something went wrong.
Almost as important as keeping your passwords available and safe is knowing all of the accounts that you have so that if you had to change something (an address, an email address, etc.) or if you had to change all of your passwords because a device became compromised in some way, you have a list of what it all is. I also store all of my software “keys” in there so that they don’t get lost, and at least once a year I create an image backup of all of our systems using clonezilla and put the hard disk containing the images in a bank vault.
I currently have 307 logins of various sorts and 92 software keys (many of them are keys for a string of versions of the same product) stored in SplashID, and sync with my Android tablet and my new iPad from time to time as well.

My husband asked me to come on here and confess my story. He is an IT consultant and SplashID user. I am a little behind the times and not very trusting. I used to carry my passwords around with me in a note pad (not the computer kind). Then I ‘moved with the times’ and added all my pass words to the notepad function on my Smart phone. I have also committed the cardinal sin of previously keeping all my passwords the same so I do not have to memorise too much. I think I need help. I am worried about the security aspect but also want a simple and easy life. I only have 10 – 15 passwords so is Splash ID really for me anyway. I guess the first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one. I have one. KC

Splashid is my first password mamanger since i used palm.
I use if for many years and it work fine.
Then I use IPhone,but the ios verison not support chinese sync.That’s pitty.
So i Changse to use 1password,msecure,lastpass…etc.
But I used to use splashid , so last I use the most msecure(it most like splahid).
Now i am happy to come backt to splashid.
But Can I import the msecure vid database file.

I have been a user of SplashID at least for the last 12 or 14 years, I remember that it was a very light application, but even them it provide the best service ever, since I started to use the application I have recommended to everyone I know, it’s the most efficient and effective way to maintain the long list of ever growing passwords and data we accumulate thought the years, I have over +250 different login/password combinations, and believe me it’s imposible to remember each and every one, and you can’t have the same password everywhere because different applications require different password sets. Before I used SplashID for the first time I use to write the password down on a piece of paper, or on a text file in the computer, certainly not safe at all – SplashID has redefine the way we manage our information, I really feel completely secure using it, I use it to record and maintain not just the different passwords/login names, but my vehicles information, my family clothes sizes, my credit cards, bank accounts, investment accounts, memberships, etc, imagine that I have close to 400 records and growing on my SplashID app. The versatility to have every piece of information available anywhere, anytime, everywhere is just unbelievable convenience. I will never, ever stop using SplashID and will continue to recommend the application to everyone I know, it’s the best app ever!

Before I used to keep my few passwords on a paper pocket address book but it sat at home in a drawer, after a while the few passwords became dozens… so many times I wished I had the book with me. Finally my husband set me up with SplashID and since then I can’t think doing without.

I have used SplashID since the late 90s. I believe the original version was called Mobile Safe? Anyway, I have a lot of records and passwords and this app does a great job of keeping it safe and organized. I switched to the cloud storage last year and love how it keeps all my devices at home and at work synced. The customer support people have been good as well.

I just recently (and finally) upgraded to Pro and it is worth every penny. My wife is now hooked as well. I used to store passwords in a text file on my old Psion Organiser. I’ve been using SplashID for several years and love the way I can keep all my passwords (currently 318) sync’d between my Macbook, iPhone and iPad. I never have to remember passwords again or even try and think up a new password just use the generate button. Thank you splashID.

I have owned SplashID for many years. I think I started with it on my pc when I had a Palm Pilot and then switched over to the MAC version. Before SplashID, I had one password for everything so that I could never forget it. This did not work well so I used an address book to keep track of all my sign ins and which internet sites I belonged to. This was not very easy as I had to carry it with me at all times. I then decided to check into a PalmPilot that a friend had. It was then that I discovered SplashID. I now use it both on my MAC and iPhone and keep them both synced and still absolutely love it. It has grown up over the years and I appreciate that. Keep up the good work! This is one bit of software that I will continue to use over the years to come.

I’ve been using SplashId since about 2002 back when I had a Palm Pilot. I use SplashID for everything that I want keep secure. Not just passwords, but anything like passport and credit card numbers. Currently I have over 700 entries. But that’s because I never delete an entry. Just in case. You never know when you might need an old password. And yes I once needed to login to a system I hadn’t touched for 8 years. The password I had stored in SplashId still worked.
I almost stopped using it a few years ago. I found it extremely frustrating that there was a different version of the product for every different type of smart device and that a different PC client was needed for each one. But I could find no other product with the same functionality so I begrudgingly continued using SplashId.
With the cloud version of SplashId, those frustrations went away. I’m back to loving the product. I use it all the time.

In addition to remembering and syncing my passwords, I use it most often to copy and paste credit card numbers, codes, bank account numbers, etc when making online purchases. A great time saver. And it remembers my frequent flyer numbers. Plus: I put in cloth sizes for my other family members — real helpful when Xmas shopping.

I’ve used SplashID for a decade and a half, starting with a Palm and then an HP IPAQ. After replacing the IPAQ with an Android device a few months ago, I tried several highly recommended password managers. None provided the features that I need so well as SplashID. For me critical features are the the number of fields and the ability to rename them, plus associated notes and field masking options, as well as two factors for sorting/selection/viewing (categories and types) making it quick and easy to find things with names I’ve forgotten.

I might only have 111 records in my SplashID, but it is a really fantastic tool for keeping my life in order. I work at sea and being able to take the full list of passwords with me on my iPhone when I’m away from home is really useful. I also travel a fair bit outside of work and having a good detailed record or passport number, driving licence numbers and other personal document details gives me peace of mind should I ever misplace them.
