RIM Invites SplashData to Taste of BlackBerry

Research in Motion (RIM), makers of the BlackBerry, invited SplashData as well as other top BlackBerry developers to New York last week for a special “Taste of BlackBerry” press event. The posh event in a midtown loft was designed to show off third party applications for the BlackBerry to technology journalists. At our table, we featured SplashWallet for BlackBerry, and the value of the suite got attention from the press who attended the event. I enjoyed spending time with the developers nearby, including Ring2 and Telenav. RIM also has some interesting new announcements coming out soon. 2008 should be a great year for BlackBerry lovers.
